Banana Choc Chunk Protein Cookies


  • 105g plain flour
  • 45g Veganut Vanillla Dream Protein Powder
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt 
  • 90g coconut oil, melted
  • 45g Fairtrade bananas, pureed
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 70g-100g dark vegan chocolate, chopped (we used Whittaker's 72% Dark Ghana)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling on top (ESSENTIAL, trust us)
  1. Preheat your oven to 180ºC.
  2. Combine the melted coconut oil, pureed banana and brown sugar in a bowl and mix together.
  3. Add the flour, protein powder, baking powder and salt, and mix until fully incorporated, then fold in your chocolate. You may want to refrigerate the dough for 30 mins if it is too soft to handle.
  4. Shape the dough into 8-10 cookies on a lined baking tray and bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden on the edges.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy warm with your favourite dairy free yoghurt or ice cream, or on their own as a delicious treat!

yet…What if i dont have protein powder?
due to no supply, will it change the taste & shall i add more flour???
